This is a shout out for the excellent work that was performed by the Hughes Electrical & HVAC Services, LLC crew members. The crew members consisted of the electrical wiring installers, the generator placement installers, and the gas connection installers. The crew members were very professional and competent in performing the necessary skill set needed for their job. After the work was completed, James Hughes was on hand to inspect the generator. He thoroughly explained the workings of the Generac System. With this, he also explained minor trouble shooting fixes and assisted with adding my generator to my smart phone. I give Hughes Electrical & HVAC Services an A+++. I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking to have a generator installed.

This is truly one of the most professional companies I have dealt with in mylifetime.  When I requested an estimate on a whole-house generator, the owner himself, James, came out and went through the option with me.  He was honest and direct about the costs involved and at no point tried to \u201cupsell\u201d me with options I did not need. His  knowledge of generators was incredible, as well as his knowledge of the equipment already present in my house, and his prices less than expected. We signed a contract on the spot and cancelled appointments for estimates from other companies.  Tammi, the office manager, communicated with us regularly and scheduled our installation far earlier than we could havepossibly expected.  Both the electrical and the plumbing crews arrived on time and finished quickly, quietly and with no disruption to our day. Then the owner James himself came out to fire up and test the generator. In all, a process that was scheduled to take three months took only a few weeks. The entire experience was seamless and completed with absolutely no effort on my part. Expertise, quick scheduling, on-time completion:  this company is simply the best.  I have highly recommended Hughes Electricto all my friends.  Using this company  is one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I had Hughes quote our home in 2019, I requested an updated one here in July 2023. Since I have sched difficulties, they squeezed me into their quote sched...but after 3 hours later than our window (no show), I asked to resched. I did receive a phone call basically stating they were too busy since I did not have the job done in 2019, and were under the impression I wanted it immediatly. I told him I just wanted to resched the quote (we had changes in our electrical system) and needed updated information to move forward. I was told to call someone else....they simply were not interested.

We have a whole house Generac Generator that we had installed when we built our house, 4 years ago. We needed to have it professionally serviced. It still runs fine, just needed a "tune up." I saw the Generac advertisement on the Weather Channel, so I called the 800 number. They transferred me to Hughes. The person I spoke to was very knowledgeable & answered all of my questions. We set up our appt after the Christmas holiday. She said she would text me the info (she forgot). When I called the day of the appt - to inquire why no one has called me- he said he was sorry, but they are busy & behind due to the bad weather. I simply said it would have been nice for someone to call and let me know. When I inquired about rescheduling after they got caught up, he said they are only servicing their "own customers " & would not be able to help me. If this is the case, why wasn't I informed of this when I made my initial appt? I was out of town for the Christmas holiday and left a day early so I could meet my appt. obligation. If they would have done a better job of communicating all of this could have been avoided. They may have earned a new customer instead of one that will never recommend this company to anyone. Oh, but they are only servicing "their own" customers, so they must not need any new business.

Took one day for crew to set up generator and change out the service to the house. Did great job on putting in the transfer switch and rewiring the sub panel.Second crew came several days later and put in the natural gas line and connected to the generator.Mr. Hughes came by and programmed and tested the generator with simulated power outage. Mr. Hughes is very knowledgeable with the product and has all the tools and accessories on hand to handle any situation.Tammy in the office keeps up with the scheduling and does well to keep the clients informed even with the dynamic needs that pop up with servicing customers.

Hughes was extremely responsive to my request for a generator, noting that it could take several months because of the high demand. However, they were able to work me into their schedule in phases, as they had other work in the neighborhood and could do a step here and there. So I got my installation done within 2 weeks from their first visit! James is knowledgeable, friendly, responsive, and his staff is equally professional. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Every member of the Hughes team that worked on my project was excellent. The electrician who did the electrical hookup to the plumber who hooked up the gas piping did very neat work. I was glad they did the work, and strongly recommend Hughes Electrical contractor.

We had a difficult installation due to the locations of our natural gas meter, the electrical service panels, and our preferred location for the generator. Two other contractors couldn\u2019t accommodate us and/or would have to \u201csub out\u201d the gas line work. We prefer a \u201cone stop shop\u201d. James Hughes and his professional crews worked through the issues and performed an aesthic installation. Also, any phone calls were immediately answered by James himself or his office manager. We appreciated that and highly recommend this company.

After enduring several power outages in Memphis we finally decided to install a generator. We were concerned about the cost and inconvenience. Neither happened. The costs for the generator, not as overwhelming as we thought and the installation was easy and fast.There was a power outage on July 4th and the generator turned on and we were unaware it did, it was that seamless.
