This company was so easy to work with and worked quickly. It actually was a very smooth process and the inspection went super well too. I highly recommend this company. My friend had a lot of wonderful things to say about them as well.

Hunt electric is hands down the absolute best choice to install a Generac generator. We had called around a bit, but from the very first phone call to Hunt everyone was so very knowledgeable, friendly, and the pricing was fair. Had we called Hunt first, I am absolutely sure we would not of made the other calls.The install was done when scheduled, the install crew was on time, answered any and all our questions and did an amazing job! Not a spec of debris was left behind. When the install was complete, they went over the generator specs, how it works, what to expect, what to do if something doesn\u2019t work as well as a test run to let us see and hear what to expect.Being on a well and septic, our concerns regarding power outages have been taken away.Save yourself a lot of time and money, make Hunt your first and only call.

Eric and Heath came to install my new generator. Wow! These guys along with another NG workers knocked this thing out in 4 hours! The weather was very cold, close to zero and nobody complained or slowed down. They showed me how to operate it and sent me a link to access it by wifi. We are very pleased with the quality of work. The generator exercised this morning right on time.

We pursued getting a Generac generator in late 2020 and picked Hunt Electric mostly because of the five star reviews. It was a good choice. Kyle was very responsive to questions--there was some delay in getting both the generator and the pad--but he kept us up-to-date and responded quickly.

I reached out to Generac for a representative in my area. I was set up with Hunt Electrical and that worked out to my benefit. My wife and I was very empress and said to draw up the contract and install it any time there was an opening on their schedule. It was installed in very professional way and the employee and subcontractor were very helpful. Yes my wife and I were very happy with the service. This operation was flawless from start to finish. Kyle, the electrician in charge had a handle on the whole project and never missed a beat. They installed a new 11Kw Generac Generator, running on natural gas, a new meter head and a new 200A service panel with internal transfer switch. They showed up early in the morning and finished the project in one day. The new panel is a thing of beauty, with all the wires running straight and terminated nicely. I really can't say enough about these guys. I spent 40 years in the building trades and they are as good as any electricians I have ever worked with. The generator has provided me power on several occasions, varying from a few minutes to a few hours. It performed perfectly every time. I would recommend Kyle and Hunt Electric to anyone.

We have worked with Kyle for several years. He is very responsive and has assisted us during frigid weather to keep our generator running. We always have Hunt Electric do the annual maintenance. Our generator has given us peace of mind and keeps most of the lights and appliances running during power outsges. Found Mayer online and saw that they represented Generac. Come to find out they are not in business and were purchased by a Hunt Electric. Called for a quote and thet told me that they no longer do generators.

Scheduled an appointment for Generator Install, called a week in advance to verify and was given same information as was on the e-mail schedule confirmation (pm) told it would be 1 to 3. From 11:30am until 8pm and no one showed up.

I bought an 11KW generator last year for my home after some power outages and worked with Kyle. He was the best, took care of everything, answered all my questions, even over the weekend. I called Mayer to get a second generator for my lake home and they informed me that Hunt Electric recently purchased Mayer, but Kyle and the team are working for Hunt now. I was able to get into contact with Kyle again and have my lake generator in the queue. So glad that I figured this out and wanted to share.

I have a Generac Guardian 5875 20K whole house generator installed at my vacation home in Hayward, WI. When the local electrician I used to install the generator in 2012 recommended Kyle at Mayer Electric to perform maintenance that he could not such as adjusting the cylinder valves, I gave Kyle a call. Although I've never met Kyle, I feel like I know him personally through our texting correspondence and phone calls- I have never interacted with a more professional, knowledgeable, caring, and accommodating individual. Kyle has even included photos with his texts when I didn't understand what he was talking about so we could be on the same page. I.E.- when Generac came out with an improved regulator, Kyle contacted me immediately and included photos to make me aware of it, so I could take advantage of an even better running generator with improved energy efficiency- a generator that would use less propane, and what a difference this regulator made in saving me money! I live almost 500 miles from the vacation property, which made it impossible for me to meet Kyle at the property. Not to worry, I provided him with the garage code he needed to access the generator and transfer switch keys, and he took care of the rest. I highly recommend Kyle and Mayer Electric if you need your Generac serviced! You can expect Kyle to not only change the oil, filter, and spark plugs, but he will adjust the plugs, adjust engine cylinder valves, and run a diagnostic test of the electrical charging system and battery. But it gets better! Should you not be able to be there when the maintenance is performed, Kyle will leave a written record of maintenance performed in a protective sleeve inside of the generator so that you not only know that the work was performed, but you have a written record of service for warranty purposes and your peace of mind. In a day and age where customer service and dependability are virtually non-existent anymore, Kyle and Mayer Electric keep their appointments, do what they promise they will do, and they go above and beyond in providing 2nd to none customer service. I highly recommend both the product and also this dealer! We live on a lake and we have frequent power outages. We purchased it through Mayer Electric. They looked at our needs, and recommended the unit and installed it in a perfect location and it has performed flawlessly. It is much quieter than others, and the design is great. We also have the generator checked yearly by Mayer, and their professionalism is wonderful. Thanks to them, we know we can take a vacation without having to be concerned about power problems.

This company is great! Generac has steered me in the right direction by sending me to Mayer. Kyle and Heath were great during the install showing me everything I needed to know. Now it has been a year and I have lost power 5 times and I can be comfortable in my own home. I might have to leave if there was no power.
