L-TRAIN ELECTRIC

We made an appointment for an onsite generator evaluation. The lead time was 3-4 weeks. I received a call several days prior to the appointment and was asked to reschedule for a later date. I declined to do that and was told they would try to honor the appointment and would get back to me. On the day of the appointment I called to confirm and was told this appointment had been cancelled.The onsite visit (which seemed rather cursory) finally took place and I was told that I would receive their evaluation in 1-2 days. A week later I called and was told they are very busy they would pass my message along. Upon receiving the quote it was NOT for the size generator we had discussed and it did NOT include all of our system requirements (we have three AC units and only 1 was reported).I sent an email requesting an update/explanation and have NOT gotten any response (currently a week plus and counting).I'm not sure how comfortable I would feel going forward with a project that began with all these obstacles.

Generac should be very proud of the representation L-Train Electric provides in the state of Connecticut. As a recent customer they were very professional and thorough in their presentation of the Generac residential unit and were extremely knowledgeable about the installation, operation, and servicing of the device.

Serviceman used the exterior of my house as a restroom caught him on camera, called office and they laughed while apologizing. Owner called me and said that my extended warranty would be void if I did not extend my maintenance contract with him. I do not understand how they are elite.

OJ Mann Electric (Cheshire, CT) has serviced my Generac generator for the past 12 years. I could not be more pleased with the product and service. The generator has consistently run great. Specifically, Patrick does an outstanding job conducting the semi-annual tune-ups. Kudos to OJ Mann and the entire staff.

There wasn't one part of our experience with this company that wasn't quick, efficient, and professional. Jason's knowledge of his work made us confident in our choice of a generator. Stephanie was quick to schedule the installation and telephoned throughout the process to make sure things were going well. I can't say enough about the installers who did the physical labor. They worked for over 7 hours in the pouring rain without one negative word and smiles on their faces. They were terrific! The entire experience was a pleasure. Wish all companies worked like this!

L-Tran Electric installed a 14KW Standby Generator and the crew did an excellent job. Professional employees, kept the work site clean, started and finished the job on time. A police officer friend of mine recommend Jason of L-Tran Electric and now I recommending L-Tran to my neighbors and friends.

This is the MOST unprofessional outfit I have ever dealt with. I had to hire another installer to complete the installation. I can't beleive that they are listed on the Generac web-site as an elite dealer. I would NEVER reccomend this company to anyone.

I hooked up with the L-Train folks due to a recommendation from a coworkers fatehr who used them. I called and had prompt call back by Jason. We set up a time for him to come out; he explained EVERYTHING horoughly . The whole process was smooth; rates were reasonable. I live in a stand alone condo type community and the L Train folks gave me all the paperwork my Condo Association requested. I would highly recommend L-train to anyone thinking of a generator hook up or any electrical contractor work. I wish all contractor relationships would be this good. Keep up the good work ,L-Train!

Jason and the crew at L-Train was outstanding right from the start. After Hurricane Sandy, we had trouble getting any of the other Generac dealers to even call us back. L-Train was at my house two days after we called to request a quote/site evaluation. They gave us an ETA on the generator after we ordered it and they were right on with this as well. When it came down to installation, my wife and I informed them of unique concerns that we had and they made sure that the generator was up and running before Winter Storm Charlotte hit. They definitely went the extra mile to pull this off and just as the flakes were starting to fly that Friday afternoon, the generator was fired up. My wife was in tears. This is our second house and we've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. This was by far the best experience that we've ever had.

These guys are great: they promptly returned calls and e-mails and showed up when they said they would. Unlike many contractors in this area, they are serious about doing business. Thanks, Jason, Billy and Don. It was a pleasure doing business with you.

We ordered our Generac Generator from L-Train Electric on October 4, 2012. Today, installation was completed and the generator is up and running. Every time I had a question, someone was able to answer it and when I wanted to know when this would be finished, they gave me a time frame and STUCK TO IT! What a wonderful experience.

I just had the absolute best experience from LTrain Electric. Positive, professional phone and face to face interaction, quality work, very efficient AND I have never before had contractors clean up every single piece of debris. Contracted with L-Train to install a new Generac 14KW house generator.

I called you three weeks ago looking for a quote, and left a message. After no return call, I called again last week and set up an appointment for yesterday. No call... no show. Thanks for making me take time off of work for nothing.

L-Train Electric was very responsive to our needs. After the 2011 storms and power outages we tried calling a few electricians and they were one of only two that actually returned our call. Once we got a quote for installing a generator they were very responsive and followed through on all of the timelines they gave us. Finally, they were extremely responsive to a special request we made after they had already installed the transfer switch and were very focused on customer service and making sure we were happy with the results. I'd recommend them to anyone wanting to install a generac whole house generator!

L-Train personnel were very responsive and easy to reach, even outside of normal business hours. They were also very accomodating to my schedule. I am totally pleased with their process, their explanations of what to expect, and the final outcome.

I started the generator search process back in September. L-Train (specifically Jason) responded quickly with a quote while the competitors did not even return my calls. After the storm that knocked out power for a week, I called L-Train again. Once again Jason came out quickly and requoted. This time the competitor also quoted and it was twice as much!

I always got to talk to someone (not a answering machine) knowledgable when I called. Didn't have to play telephone tag. Job was well done. They came as scheduled.

Excellent response and work. Were there when I needed them for emergency work and no one else could get and electrician after the storms. I am recommend them highly.
