We bought an 18kw Generac from Selectric in Beaufort. Corbin was great- knowledgable responsive and truthful. No salesmenship just knows his product and what you need. Installation crew was fast, friendly and did a great job. Tom came out to get it going and ran through everything very throughly. Would definitely recommend these guys if you're looking for a generator.

Very much glad to have our new 22kw Generac Guardian in place at our southern residence. It will give us peace of mind when those pesky storms roll through. We have previously owned a competitive generator and find the new Generac quieter and more integrated to our grid. Only negative on the generator is it did not come WiFi enabled due to the chip shortage\u2026shipping me that and having it installed later is an unnecessary hassle.Selectric did a great job on the install. I had a home generator installed in April of 2020. Edisto Heating and Air did good job installing the generator to our home. The problem is their response to service. After a year I placed a service request in June 2020. I have been waiting almost two months for service. Based on their service response i could not recommend them. It looks like they are interested in the installation but not servicing the equipment they sell.

The people at Selectric were simply incredible!They responded quickly and were on time, every time! They got us set up and running when they said they would.We plan on using them for all of our electrical needs from now on!

The whole process from requesting an estimate to the final installation was flawless. The initial home visit was very productive, informational and totally unhurried. All of my questions were answered and I was pretty much ready to move forward. I called back within the hour to accept the proposal and that set everything in motion. The installation was done in a very professional and neat manner. I was very happy that the dealer completely handled all permits necessary and all the contacts needed to the plumber and the utility company to have everything orchestrated without any problems. By the end of the day I was trained how to use the generator and it was completely up and ready to run. It was very refreshing to work with a dealer that seemed to really care about the job they were doing. I think part of the reason for the excellence is that you deal directly with the owner and the owner's son. Overall it was a GREAT EXPERIENCE!

I had a 22KW Guard whole-home model Generac installed this fall (2018). The personnel involved in the installation were very professional (Selectric LLC) they made the installation process seem very easy (no mess or damage). I am thankfully pleased with the performance of the unit and the fact that every week the unit itself conducts a performance test, which is automatically sent to my cellphone or PC indicating the status of the unit.

I contracted with Selectric to install my 22kw whole house generator in early August 2018.As the hurricane approached my wife started getting nervous we would loose power and the guys at Selectric made sure my ne generators was installed and operational before the storm was supposed the hit on September 11th. We never got the storm but we were ready to have power if it did go out. I couldn't asked for better service and I recommend Selectric to anyone that is thinking of installing backup power in the Hilton Head area of SC.
