From the time that I first called, looking for someone to regularly service my unit, until a service technician came out (on a Saturday: and this was not urgent!) Smith personnel have been responsive and have done exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. The technician explained and demonstrated everything to me, which I requested. I am theirs for the long term!

Joe Smith went above and beyond servicing my generator. He helped identify a major problem with the installation of my generator, and spent additional time solving the problem without any extra charge. He is also super friendly!

I hired this vendor to install a generac 22kw at my residence in DE County, PA. The vendor was fantastic. Professional, prompt, courteous and friendly are the top words I would describe this vendor's install crew. The pre-sales process is just what one would expect and I wasn't hounded by this vendor afterwards to take next steps and purchase. I have been having a problem with the generator automatically switching back to line power when power comes back on....manual was only way to with it back. Smith generators did not do the install. Joe first tried to work over the phone to problem solve and save me a service call if it was not a warranty issue. When that did not work he came out and worked with me to find the problem (bad switch), changed it out and fixed the issue. He was like a dog with a bone problem solving the issue!I am pretty particular would definitely recommend Joe Smith and his company for Generator recommendations, installs, and tech support/maintenance. Great personality and knowledgeable of Generac Generators and Transfer Switches.

He clearly described what we needed and all the cost options, and together with his electrician installed and put into service our Generac generator in short time and promised to personally provide any necessary follow-up customer service. He went out of his way to accommodate my schedule: he came in the evening and on a weekend. The installation was done excellently, and he left the site very clean. Smith Generators have installed a total of four generators for us over the last eight years, two 20 kW and two 48 kW units. Installations were fast and caused no disruption of our business, Service is also excellent. One of our 48 kW units went off-line on Christmas morning and Joe, the owner of the company, was out to repair it the same day. Can't get much better than that! I highly recommend them.

Had my Generator serviced in November. In December noticed the generator was not performing the weekly cycle. Checked the generator and noticed the low oil pressure light on. Had them come back out and they advised the took care of it and I was "Good to go". Lost power in February and the generator did not come on. Checked the generator and it again had the low pressure light on. I filled the generator with oil and observed oil running out the bottom of the oil filter. I will never use them again. Thank God the generator shuts off automatically when low on oil.

Waited over 2 weeks untill someone finally came out. Still could not fix my generator. Seem to have more excuses then knowledge.
